Thrillerfest Day Three

So another Thrillerfest comes to a close.

Today began quite early, with the Debut Authors Breakfast at 8am. Since the gifted and very sweet Hilary Davidson was among this year’s class, I forced myself out of bed and slumbered into the banquet hall where each of the 40+ authors, including Hilary, pitched their novels to the 100+ in attendance. Some of these novels sounded absolutely terrific, and I wish I had endless pockets of ducats with which to purchase them all.

Partners in Crime

Last night, I had the great good pleasure of participating in a reading/signing with authors Hilary Davidson and Joelle Charbonneau. The venue was Partners & Crime, a mystery bookstore located in Greenwich Village.

Partners & Crime was the scene of my NYC launch for Nuclear Winter Wonderland, so it felt very comfortable to be back for my NYC launch of While Galileo Preys. I originally had no launch site for Galileo – apparently, bookstores are disinclined to host authors of paperback originals – but Hilary and Joelle selflessly opened their event to me, and I am forever indebted.
